The skills, knowledge, experience and personal qualities that organisations look for in their trustees are many and varied. So are the ways in which Boards of Trustees or Management Committees operate.
Finding and choosing a new Trustee - particularly a Chair or Honorary Treasurer - and their successful induction requires particular skill and judgment. The aim is to find people who embrace the ethos and vision of the organisation and whose skills and experience complement those of the other trustees. This builds a strong board.
A vital element of our service for trustee appointments is to establish, so far as is possible, the probity of candidates to ensure they are eligible for the position.
