CfA offers online psychometric assessments to assist in recruitment decision making. We are able to offer both ability tests (numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning) and personality profiles (Jungian based or using Cattell’s personality factors).
Psychometric tests should be taken between the shortlisting meeting and the final panel interviews in order to inform the decision. For ability tests, we normally allow a one-week timeframe. In the case of personality profiles, the test administrator needs time to interview each candidate before the report can be written and this also needs to be built into the timeframe. A two-week period should ideally be allowed for this.
A brief summary of the results will be available to the panel after the final interviews to assist in the decision making.
